Our Rosé is made for you and your loved ones to have The Perfect Time. Crafted in a true Provence style, we have blended six different varietals to create a rosé that can be enjoyed at any time: sip on the back porch in the summer or toast with family during Thanksgiving and create your own perfect time.

  • This '16 Rosé was made from a combination of free-run juice and saignee from premium vineyards in both Sonoma County and Napa Valley, picked throughout the 2016 harvest. The juice for each lot was given a short amount of skin contact ,then fermented cold in stainless steel to preserve subtle flavors and freshness. It was racked into a combination of stainless steel and neutral french oak. In the Spring, the lots were tasted and a final blend made before bottling. The blend is primarily Rosés' of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, with a final touch of Zinfandel and Syrah.

  • Composition: 43% Pinot Noir (several lots, Sonoma county) 22% Malbec (Sonoma county) 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa vallley) 9% Zinfandel (Sonoma county) 6% Syrah (Sonoma)

  • Appellation: California

  • Tech: TA: 6.1 / pH: 3.38 / Alc%: 13.4%

Tasting Notes:

  • Color: Pale rose pink.

  • Aroma: Watermelon and wild strawberry, with a bit of orange peel and cardamon.

2016 CHARDONNAY - 7 HOUR LUNCH

It was just supposed to be a friendly, first date lunch. 7 Hours Later, Steve and Laura knew they had found something special. Our Courtney Vineyard Chardonnay from Santa Rita Hills is the perfect lunch wine. By why stop, there? This wine is easy to drink at anytime! Our Chardonnay is made in the Burgundian style, a favorite of Steve’s, and can be enjoyed at any occasion.

$45 /bottle (ON-LINE STORE Available DECEMBER 2017)

  • Grapes came in on 9/15/16 and were immediately whole-cluster pressed to a settling tank. After settling, the lot was inoculated with CY3079 yeast, and then barreled down to a combination of both new, once/twice used and neutral french oak barrels. The barrels were kept cool to ensure a slow fermentation and to preserve flavors. Primary fermentation finished in mid-October. Near the end of primary, the barrels were inoculated with malolactic bacteria to begin malic conversion. Partial conversion was allowed to occur slowly over the next few months. Barrels were stirred regularly during this time to suspend the lees and improve texture.

  • Current Status: Alc #: 14.1% pH: 3.50 TA: 7.5 g/L.

  • Appellation: Santa Rita Hills (Santa Barbara County).

  • Vineyard/Fruit Description: The Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County is one of California’s premier cool-climate AVAs. It is also one of California’s smaller AVAs with 99% of its territory falling within the larger Santa Ynez Valley AVA. Intersected by Santa Ynez River, this picturesque region is located between the towns of Buellton and Lompoc in Santa Barbara County. The 52-acre Courtney’s Vineyard is a hillside property that features limestone-based soil types. As one would expect from the Sta. Rita Hills, this is a cool, coastally-influenced site.

Tasting Notes:

  • Color: Bright yellow-gold.
  • Aroma: Beautiful nose. Ripe yellow apple and tropical fruit with some vanilla and baking spice.
  • Flavors: Bright, mouth-filling lemon curd with a bit of pineapple, and a touch of baking spice. Lots of energy. Balanced from start to finish.

2014 CABERNET SAUVIGNON - INFINITY ON ItS SIDE...

We were fortunate enough to come across a small lot of exceptional "juice" from a fantastic cult vineyard in Oakville (Napa Valley). We knew this wine would be special so we have added this Cabernet Sauvignon to our portfolio of custom, premium wines. How does this fit into our love story? Simple...Laura and I always tried to "one up" each other when expressing our love for one another. The 3 dots after the word Infinity was Steve's way of going beyond what never ends. This Cab is so smooth from start to finish that it is very drinkable now but also has incredible structure and can lay down for many years should you choose to store it. This Cab will pair well with meats but also has a soft enough mouth feel to drink on the deck or by the fire.

$75 /bottle (ON-LINE STORE Available DECEMBER 2017)
